End: 3:00 pm

Mark your calendar for our summer Leadership Conference at UUMC on Saturday, August 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Anyone in any kind of leadership position is welcome to attend. Our sessions will be led by Fiona MacLeod, a United Methodist layperson, who has led workshops in  churches and annual conferences around the country.

We will review best practices from the book, Inside the Large Congregation and discuss how this fits for our UUMC congregation. We’ll also reflect on 3 questions from Gil Rendle’s Journey in the Wilderness:

Who are we now?

What does God call us to do now?

Who is our neighbor now?

At the end of the day, we’ll talk about what’s next for us, our next most powerful step? RSVP to the church office to let us know you’re coming. (512) 478-9387.
