Mission for Children
Build a community in which young hearts and minds are awakened into faith, fellowship and service.
Sunday school classes and choirs provide regular fellowship and learning opportunities. In addition, special events bring special activities. A Mardi Gras pancake supper marks the beginning of Lent. Easter brings an Easter egg hunt and celebration. Summer means a week of Vacation Bible School. Our newest arrivals are welcomed during the Christmas pageant, a recreation of the Christmas story the children present each December.
UUMC nurtures the growth of children’s faith. Second graders are presented with Bibles. Child care is provided for young children during worship services, but children can also attend worship.
