Godly Play – a Montessori-like approach to Christian education. The goal of Godly Play is to teach children the art of using the language of the Christian tradition to encounter God and find direction for their lives. It models how to wonder so children can enter into religious language. The educational time follows the pattern of worship. Click here for more details on Godly Play.

Students continue to study the Bible in order to enhance their own personal spiritual growth by emphasizing the relevance and the application of Christian values to their daily lives within the family, at church, in school and in the community.
Students who plan to be confirmed in May begin confirmation sessions in the spring with a UUMC mentor.
Vacation Bible School
The third week in June, UUMC offers a one-week Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 through 10. Adults and youth in the congregation work with clergy to create a lively series of activities that educate and entertain the children who participate.
More information regarding children’s activities can be found on the UUMC Children’s Calendar. Contact Natasha Ulack at firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the quarterly children’s events newsletter.
