Hello and welcome! We are so glad you found us!
I feel tremendous excitement for all that’s happening at University UMC – and it’s my hope that you will, too. We offer opportunities to deepen your spiritual life, connect with others, engage your passions and talents, and help bring justice and healing to the wider world.
Our community of faith particularly welcomes the special energy and vision that newcomers bring. That’s why it’s important to us to help you feel at home and make a place with us. Attending Sunday morning worship services here is a great way to get to know us. You’re also welcome to listen to podcasts of our sermons to get a better sense of what you’ll hear from our pulpit: God’s message of love, acceptance and freedom.
If you’re old or young, gay or straight. If you have a significant other or you just lost one. If you fly first-class or you skip class – even if you have no class. We invite you here.
If you’re taking care of a parent or a parent is taking care of you. If you’re fed-up or hungry. If you’re under-employed or overworked. If the haters keep bringing you down. We welcome you here.
If you want to give church one more chance … We want you here.
University UMC’s community of faith welcomes the chance to get to know you better. Please contact me with any questions you have, or if you’d just like to say hello. I’m looking forward to having you here with us.
