Early Childhood CenterUniversity UMC’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) provides quality care at a reasonable cost for children from two months to five years old. Our ECC offers half-day and full-day programs from 8:15 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. The five-day-a-week Co-operative Program requires parent participation by spending a morning at the center once every two weeks, as well as by providing nutritious snacks.

Our ECC primarily serves UT students and church members. When possible, it also offers child care to the community at large. Each child is regarded as an important, capable individual, and children are encouraged to develop independence and confidence in their abilities. Guidance is positive and designed to enhance the child’s feeling of self-worth. Established in 1971 by University UMC, our ECC uses church facilities on the ground floor of Heinsohn Hall.
