During July, Pastor Earl and Pastor Teresa will join together in a Sermon Series entitled “Holy Envy: Finding God in the Faith of Others." This series is based on a book by the same name written by Barbara Brown Taylor. We will take a look at four world religions including Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism. The spirit of this series is not necessarily a primer on religions; instead this is about what is opened and what is revealed when we accept the invitation to investigate all the wonder before us. We learn not only that God's preferred language is driven by curiosity and specialized in questions, but we also discover the spiritual riches God can teach us from the faith of others.
