Hi friends,

I hope all of you are well! We are getting ready for the Fall Festival over here and just can’t wait. Join us on October 25th after church for all the festival goodies. Wear costumes! More info below.

We have more opportunities for parents coming up! My friend at Good Pilates will teach a mat pilates class for parents on November 8th. Childcare is provided if needed and we’ll plan to walk to get drinks or apps. We have to have 10 to meet the group rate, so if you’re interested, please mark on the attendance here. We also have our dearest Lauren Elford leading sound baths in the chapel every last Sunday of the month. The next one is October 25th.

Fall Festival

October 25th @ 12-2:30pm

Get ready for the most fun! Anyone is welcome to wear costumes. Kiddos, please bring a treat basket. We will have games, bounce house, cotton candy, face paint and a raffle made just for kiddos—including a lego set, the chance to pie Pastor Earl and more! There will also be lunch from T-Locs in the Fellowship Hall. Come for some or all of it!

Parent’s Night Out

October 24th @ 5-8:30pm

Limited spots! We will do our usual games, crafts, pizza dinner, wolf and more. The youth are welcome to join to help us set up for Fall Fest. PLEASE note, I will email out instructions for dropping off your child if the UT football game is scheduled for the evening.

Junior’s Day Camp

November 3rd @ 9-3:30pm

All Kinder-3rd graders are invited to join us for an AISD day off of school. We will learn about civic engagement, play games, work on a craft, a service project and cook lunch together. Sign up below!

Tween Time: Waste Audit and Creek Clean up

November 2nd @ 12:30-4pm

Drop off/ pick up at the Central Library. Our goal is to learn about our waste footprint, how it impacts our environment and what we can do to be part of the solution. We’ll do creek clean up along Shoal creek and end with a treat at Seaholm!

For Parents…

Parent Power Hour

November 8th @ 5-7:30pm

A friend of the church, Monika Brinkman will lead us in a beginner/ intermediate mat pilates class at her studio, Good Pilates. Childcare will be provided at the church if needed and we will plan to walk over for drinks afterwards. Join for both or either part. Let me know if you can make it on the attendance sheet here.

Last Sunday Sound Bath

Recurring @ 5-6pm

Join Lauren Elford for a sound bath in the chapel. It is a meditative, grounding experience in an amazing space. This will continue through the year (and maybe beyond).
