Hi friends,
It’s almost the holiday season and there’s a LOT happening at UUMC. I hope that you find a few things you want to join us for! All are detailed below from pageant to caroling to Christmas Eve but here is some information for the Advent season first:
We had a wonderful training session for Godly Play teachers so we will have 3 Sunday School classrooms open starting on November 30th on the 3rd floor of the education building. They will be divided into age groups: 2 yrs-preschool, Kinder-3rd grade, and 4th & 5th grade. The newsletter and website will be updated with the correct room numbers as we make this transition, and doors will be clearly labeled or you can find me with any questions. You can find room numbers below.
Our annual Christmas Pageant is December 7th. All kids are welcome to join. Please bring them to Sunday School at 10 am on the 3rd floor! Advent Fest to follow with chili lunch. Please consider bringing something to share here if you plan to be there!
Finally, thinking ahead to Christmas Eve–if you are in town and have kiddos to entertain, we have a family friendly service at 3 pm that’s engaging and always so fun. We’ll have 2 more traditional services at 5:30 pm and 10:30 pm. Hot cocoa, cookies, and photo booth will be in the courtyard from 4 pm - 5:30 pm. We are looking forward to the cozy season!
