Austin International Half-Marathon
Sunday is the Austin International Half Marathon. The course will primarily affect those who live north of UUMC. However, we should all expect some additional delays coming to church. The easiest way to get to church will be to use Mopac and 24th Street. Once you’re on 24th headed towards campus, turn left onto San Antonio for access to the Platinum Lot or San Antonio Garage, or turn left onto Guadalupe St. for access to the church parking lot. You can view the course map on their website. |

MLK Day March
If you would like to join UUMC for the MLK Day Celebration and March we’ll meet at the south steps of the capitol around 9:15 am. The rally kicks off at 9:30 am and following the programming we will march to Huston-Tillotson. You are free to park at the church and walk to the capitol but the parking will be available on a first come first serve basis. Look for the “UUMC” to sign to help find us. For more information on the March and following festivities visit mlkcelebration.com. |

Last weekend, Tweens and Youth gathered for a service project with @partnershipsforchildren. This organizations works to support and empower children, youth, and families involved with Child Protective Services.
The 4th through 7th graders from UUMC spent time sorting their donations, and maybe having some fun along the way. |
