Worship Sunday @ 11 amScripture: Psalm 139:1-18, 1 John 3: 16-24
This Sunday join us for a special worship service celebrating UUMC’s anniversary of affiliation with Reconciling Ministries Networks. This service will celebrate the strides that have been made in our faith communities towards full inclusion of queer and trans folks, and will also place before us our ongoing work as queer and trans people of faith and allies. We welcome guest preacher Adama Brown, sharing her sermon “Love Still Wins”.
After worship, join us in the Fellowship Hall for an intergenerational Drag Brunch, showcasing two of Austin's own Queens, Diamond Dior Davenport and Monica Monae! Open Door Needs Winter Wear
We’ve got a coat shortage in the Fig Leaf closet. With some chilly temps ahead of us, we’re asking for donations of any and all cold weather attire. Donations can be dropped off at the church Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm or Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm. |
