Start Small

This Sunday we celebrate the beginning of a new school year for students, teachers and staff members working at area schools and universities. The sermon text is the Parable of the Mustard Seed from Matthew 13:31-32 and Pastor Teresa’s sermon is “Start Small”, reminding us that making time for a brief moment of prayer and reflection each day can make a big difference in our daily lives.

Rev. Teresa Welborn

“Some kids are smarter than you, some kids have cooler clothes than you, some kids are better at sports than you. It doesn’t matter. You have your own thing too. Be the kid who can get along. Be the kid who is generous. Be the kid who is happy for other people. Be the kid who does the right thing. Be the nice kid.”
