The Stars Within Us

It’s the beginning of a New Year and we gather for worship this Epiphany Sunday! We remember the visit the magi made to Jesus and celebrate holy communion. The sermon text is the traditional reading of the wise men from Matthew 2:1-12 and Pastor Teresa is preaching.

“Epiphany is a day in Chrisitan traditions when we remember the Magi’s journey, following a star from nations around the world to meet Christ as an infant. Later, when King Herod attempts to manipulate them to reveal the location of the child he wants to kill, they, in sacred disobedience, ignore his request.”
