Parking

Ample free Sunday parking is available in three designated lots, as well as in metered spaces on the street.

The lots are:
1.  Church parking lot on the south-east corner of 25th Street and Guadalupe Street, adjacent to Heinsohn Hall. On Sunday, members are encouraged to leave this lot open for use by persons of limited mobility.

2.  Platinum parking lot on the south-west corner of 25th Street and Guadalupe Street, which is free to UUMC members and visitors during services on Sunday and during other special services, such as funerals, by arrangement with the church office.

3.  UT San Antonio Garage at the south-west corner of 25th Street and San Antonio Street, directly behind the Platinum parking lot. Parking is free on Sunday mornings for UUMC members and visitors.

On Sundays, UUMC provides a uniformed police officer to assist pedestrians in crossing Guadalupe Street, which can be quite busy during UT sessions.

On other days of the week, limited parking is available in the church lot adjacent to Heinsohn Hall. Please sign in at the church office as the lot is in great demand from staff, visitors, tradesmen, and parents picking up and dropping off children at the Early Childhood Center.

Facilities
The UUMC campus comprises the Sanctuary building, which was opened in 1909; the Courtyard, a popular gathering place after services and location of the children’s play area; and Heinsohn Hall, which was constructed in 1949.

The Sanctuary, which seats more than 800 people when all three balconies are used, also conta

ins several classrooms and a cry room for use during services.

Heinsohn Hall, a center of church life outside services, includes:

First Floor:

• Early Childhood Center during the week, and on Sundays, nursery and toddler classes
• Margaret Gregory Choir Room
• Chapel

Second Floor:

• Church office
• Staff offices
• Fellowship Hall and kitchen
• Library
• Heath Conference Room

Third Floor:

• Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults offices and staff offices

Fourth Floor:

• Campus ministries
• Fig Leaf used clothing store
