UUMC has been sharing the unconditional love of God and justice in action in the heart of Austin and throughout the world since 1887. We are affiliated with Reconciling Ministries Network, affirming the call of the gospel of Jesus Christ to be in ministry with all people of all races, gender identities, sexualities, ages, immigration status, and physical conditions. At the beginning of every worship service we say these words: No matter who you are and no matter where you are on your faith journey or life journey, you are welcome here!
